Ekiti Man Cries for Justice as Truck Kills Son, Destroys House.

An Aramoko Ekiti man, Rufus Farotimi, is seeking justice after a truck driver rammed into his house, killing his undergraduate son, and leaving his family homeless.
The incident occurred on March 26, when the heavy-duty truck crashed into their home, crushing Promise, a 300-level student at federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE ), who was asleep.

Farotimi, the grief-stricken father, described the loss as devastating, saying he’s left with nothing. “My son was killed, and I am the owner of the house. This accident has destroyed my home. I’ve lost my child and my shelter,” he said.

The driver fled, but his assistant was apprehended, and documents recovered identified the driver as Shuaibu Yusuf.
Farotimi urges authorities to apprehend the suspect and calls on the company linked to the truck to take responsibility.
Neighbors and community leaders blame reckless driving and the poor road condition, calling for urgent action.
The police have confirmed that the case is under investigation.
