Fresh crack in Aiyedatiwa’s camp as senior Media appointees quit

Fresh cracks have emerged within the administration of Lucky Aiyedatiwa following the resignation of two senior media aides in less than 48 hours, sparking speculation of deeper discontent within the government.

Pastor Taiwo Ilesanmi Gbamila, who about a month ago reportedly threatened to step down if what he described as ill-treatment persisted, has resigned as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Multimedia to the Governor.

Similarly, Mr Olugbenga Abire has also tendered his resignation as Special Assistant (SA) on Media.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that other media aides in the Governor’s team may be planning a mass resignation, allegedly over poor treatment and lack of adequate funding.

Sources within government circles further allege that the administration has effectively been taken over by a powerful cabal said to be in control of the state’s finances.
