The official commissioning of the 200 Capacity Ultra-modern Library built and donated by the former Aide to Chief of Staff to the President, Dr Seun Bosede Osamaye to her Alma mater, Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo City would hold on Thursday, 14th December, 2023.

This was contained in a statement signed by the donor and made available to Ebony Herald International Magazine today.

It would be recalled, that she served as the Senior Legislative Aide on Gender Equality to Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, former Speaker, 9th House Of Representatives and now, the Chief of Staff to the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu between 2019 and 2023.

According to her; she tagged the donation of the Library as “Rising Above Limitations :Fulfilling Purpose, Part 1, saying” It may never be done if you don’t do it!”.

Speaking further, she said” Well, I never planned to build a library for my Alma Mater from the beginning, the rejections I faced while begging on my knees to facilitate a project to my Alma Mater and the reality that it may never be done if I don’t do it became the propeller for getting this library built by myself.

“This library didn’t just happen, It took me two and a half years, with the support of my great husband to get us here.

“I will be sharing my life’s motivational series with you all in this count down, if it resonates with you, I hope it inspires you not to ever give up and if it does not, share, someone else might be inspired.

She further stressed, that; “Rising above limitations and fulfilling purpose is possible, If you want it done, do it yourself, you never know how great you can be untill you start”, she counseled.

Dr Seun Bosede Osamaye FCISM is a distinguished academic and trailblazer in the field of education, Administration Management, political, and philanthropic endeavors. She is an educationist who has taught at various educational levels for almost two decades. She has attained a work-life balance through a successful career, family, and socio-political life. Seun started her lecturing career in the department of English at Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo after graduating as the best Student in her class, she was loved by all students and staff. She has also made huge impacts in the political landscape of the country at a young age. In 2019, she was the Coordinator of the Small Allhaji Campaign Organisation, a successful campaign that led to the emergence of Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye as a member of the House of Representatives for ldanre/lfedore federal constituency of Ondo State in the 9th Assembly.

Dr Seun Osamaye holds a M. Phil/Phd in English Language from Nasarawa State University, KEFFI where she’s currently running her PhD. She equally holds a Masters of Arts degree in English Language from the great Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife Osun State and She is a proud graduate of Adeyemi College of Education Ondo State for her B.A (ED) English 2nd class upper and NCE In College of Education, Ikere Ekiti now Ekiti State university of Education.
And A fellow of Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management (FCISM)

Seun served between 2019 and 2023 as the Senior Legislative Aide on Gender Equality to Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila(Fmr Speaker, 9th House Of Representatives and the Chief of Staff to the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu) where she works with other senior colleagues on areas that centers on promoting gender equality rights and awareness, ensuring domestication and implementation of the VAPP Act especially as it addresses Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), facilitating gender-friendly programs, and partnering with Gender-Based Civil Society Groups committed to the cause of women and general well-being of the girl-child in Nigeria.

Seun since 2019 as part of her humanitarian gestures began a yearly empowerment program tagged “Give back a portion” which has seen her donate empowerment materials such as a car, a motorcycle, cash gifts, food items, household items, grinding machines and so many other items to indigent women, youths and less privileged in Ifedore Local Government area of Ondo State. On May 30, 2021. Seun was honored with the Young Women of the Decade Award by TRACE News Magazine.

Seun Bosede Osamaye is one of the few young women in APC who contributed tremendously to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s emergence as president through diligent discharge of duties and responsibilities assigned to her. She served as National President of the Progressive Young women forum between July, 2021 and June, 2023. Seun as an election management expert and a data analyst is currently the National Coordinator of the Progressive Change Agents Initiative (PCAi), An Election intelligence gathering group with over 10, 000 field officers, the group contributed immensely to the 2023 election Victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Seun recently became an Icon of Humanitarian and philanthropy after building and donating a 200-Capacity Ultra Morden Faculty library to her Alma mater to be Commissioned in the second week of December, 2023 despite her meagre income.

Dr Seun is a recipient of over 40 awards and recognitions across Nigeria between 2019 and now.

Dr SEUN is happily married to Mr Oladotun Emmanuel Osamaye and blessed with children.
