Gov. Idris, Emir Of Zuru Rejoice With Glorious Sons Of Zuru Over Promotion

It is indeed a glorious end of the year (2024) for two illustrious sons of Zuru emirate identified for dedication to service and promoted by their respective federal organisations.
Expressing his joyful feeling over the promotion, Comrade Governor Nasir Idris described the promotion of Ibrahim Abdullahi to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police as a recognition of the talent and leadership capacity of the indigenes of Kebbi State in federal service.
Governor Kauran Gwandu through his special adviser on Communication and Strategy Abdullahi Idris Zuru further declared that he has absolute confidence in the AIG’S ability to be a good ambassador of the state stressing that “never allow Kebbi State to be shortchanged in the service”
The Emir of Zuru Major-General Muhammadu Sani Sami Gomo ll said he feels proud that his illustrious sons were found worthy of the promotions.
The two illustrious sons of Zuru emirate that benefited from the promotion included Commissioner of Police Ibrahim Abdullahi promoted to his next rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police and Superintendent of Customs Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu Gujiya who was also promoted to his next rank of Chief Superintendent of Customs.
The Assistant Inspector General was early at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, thereafter he assumed duty at the Force Headquarters and later transferred to Kaduna State Command as Commissioner. Chief Superintendent Sadiq Gujiya has been at the Kebbi State Command of the Nigerian Customs Service in charge of operations.
