IRAN; Maryam Rajavi Announces Interim Government —Pledges Free Election,Non-Nuclear Democracy
Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), has unveiled a detailed plan for an interim government in Iran, promising free elections, a non-nuclear future, and expanded rights for women.
The announcement comes amid escalating tensions in the region, following recent US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities and growing calls for political change within Iran
Former Trump aide Rudy Giuliani amplified Rajavi’s proposal on X, stating, “Maryam Rajavi is prepared with an interim government for Iran and pledged to an election in months, a non-nuclear, democratic Iran with freedom of religion and freedom for women and a 10 Point Program to create a modern liberal democracy.”
Giuliani’s endorsement highlights international support for Rajavi’s vision as a credible alternative to both the current regime and the exiled son of Iran’s former Shah.
Rajavi’s ten-point plan centers on democratic elections grounded in universal suffrage, separation of religion and state, and full respect for human rights, including freedom of expression and the abolition of the death penalty
