Nigeria@64: Gov. Raddah Preaches Unity, Peace, and Patriotism
As Nigeria Celebrates its 64th Independence Anniversary, Gov. Mal. Dikko Umaru Raddah of Katsina State has called upon Citizens especially the good people of the state to shun divisive tendencies and embrace the spirit of tolerance and peaceful coexistence for a brighter nation.
Governor Radda gave the charge at Peoples’ Square Katsina on the occasion of Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary.
Reflecting on the country’s journey so far, the governor urged the citizens to renew commitment to the ideals of founding fathers whose enduring legacies remain instrumental in the nation’s present progresses.
The Katsina Governor pinpointed key aspects of the “Building Your Future” agenda, focusing on education, healthcare, economic empowerment, and security. “Our progress is evident in the numerous achievements we have made.
We have expanded access to quality education, improved healthcare facilities, created job opportunities through our agricultural and industrial initiatives, and strengthened security measures to ensure the safety of Katsina residents.”
Governor Radda called on the good people of Katsina state to embrace the spirit of patriotism and unity that Independence Day portrays. “Let us channel the same spirit of determination and hope that guided our forebears in their daughter quest for independence. With our joint efforts, we can overcome current challenges and build a Katsina State and a Nigeria that we can all be proud of.
” Let us stand united as brothers and sisters, bound by our shared heritage and aspirations of a prosperous and peaceful nation. As citizens of Katsina State, we have a unique responsibility to contribute to the progress of our state and nation. Let us embrace peace, harmony, and cooperation, and work tirelessly to build a brighter future for generations to come.”
Radda reaffirmed his administration’s submission to transparent and inclusive governance. “As we celebrate this Independence Day, I pledge to continue working hand in hand with all stakeholders to realise our shared vision of a prosperous Katsina State within a united and progressive Nigeria.”
