Introduction
I felt poised to write below from my personal view the report of my publications on Ebonyi herald International. I might be quite critical and maybe humorous in some ways but notwithstanding that, all respect reserved.
I want to be real about this, Writing these articles has been a journey—definitely the type that’s been full of learning, challenges, and growth. Over the past few months, I’ve had the privilege of sharing my thoughts on a range of issues that matter, hoping to make real change in the way we think about things like leadership, healthcare, and corruption. Each article came with its own set of struggles, but also its own set of rewards. As the articles went out, I’ve noticed something: people are paying attention, and that’s what matters most.

The articles published so far have covered a lot of ground. From mental health to climate change, from leadership crises to healthcare access/ Education, each sentence was crafted with a purpose: which was to challenge assumptions, provide valuable informations, and hopefully, inspire action. These articles weren’t just written to check a box. They were created to challenge the way we see the world. Each one was a deep dive into some of the toughest issues facing society today. And while not every article has a perfect answer, the goal has always been to get people thinking and, hopefully, moving in the direction of solutions.
Challenges
Writing is never as easy as it looks. You sit down to put your thoughts into words, and suddenly, the ideas don’t flow the way you imagined. That’s the reality of it.
Another struggle was staying fresh, thinking about the article titles and finally, settling for the best. Talking about the same issues—corruption, leadership, Health, Education, and the like—requires a constant effort to present new angles, new perspectives. It’s easy to fall into the trap of repeating the same ideas, but I wanted to make sure each article offered something different. The goal was to move beyond the surface, dig deeper, and show readers that there are solutions worth exploring.
The impact of my articles
Over 20,000 people have read these articles—an impressive number, no doubt. But when you peel back the layers, it’s not just about the count. The real impact comes from the conversations they’ve created. People are no longer just reading; they’re engaging. They’re questioning, they’re challenging, and—dare I say—they’re starting to think a little harder about what’s really going on around them. And that is where the magic happens. Because change doesn’t begin with a casual glance at the news; it begins when we stop nodding along passively and start raising our hands with the tough questions.
Now, I won’t sugarcoat it—the website, well, it wasn’t exactly a marketing masterpiece. It was like trying to shout in a crowded room without a megaphone. But still, it reached a lot of people. That’s a victory in itself, but let’s not kid ourselves—that’s only the first step. The real impact will be measured not by how many times the article was read, but by how many times those words turned into action. Because, it’s not just about writing articles; it’s about writing the kind of words that don’t just sit on a screen, but roll up their sleeves and get to work.
Thinking of “what is next?”
Looking back, I’m proud of the work that’s been done. But I know there’s always room for improvement. One of the key lessons I’ve learned is that platforms matter. But beyond that, it’s about staying consistent and making sure the conversation doesn’t end when the article is published. The real challenge now is building a community around these ideas, where people can engage, share their thoughts, and work together toward solutions.
Writing isn’t over for me. It’s just one part of the bigger effort to bring change, and I’m committed to continuing this work—whether it’s writing articles, creating discussions, or helping to shape the future.
Today is December 26th, my birthday, and as I sit back and think about the past year, I’m both humbled and grateful. Another year older, yes—but also another year of growth, challenges, and unexpected opportunities. Writing for Ebonyi Herald News has been one of those opportunities that I didn’t anticipate, but I’m incredibly thankful for.
When I first started contributing articles, I didn’t know exactly what to expect. Sure, I had ideas, topics I felt were important, and a desire to share them—but the way it’s all turned out, reaching over 20,000+ readers around the world, has been beyond what I imagined. It’s a reminder that sometimes the impact we have can be much bigger than we realize.
I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks to the managing board of Ebonyi Herald News for giving me the platform to contribute. The opportunity to share my thoughts on topics that matter so much—issues that can help shape a better future—is something I’ll never take for granted. Yes, writing can be a challenge. Some days, the words flow easily, and other days, I find myself staring at a blank screen, wishing for inspiration. But the feedback, the conversations, the ripple effect of sharing these ideas—that’s what makes it worth the effort.
I can’t help but feel excited for what’s next. A new year, a new age, and so much more to accomplish. I know that the impact I’ve made so far is just the beginning. There’s so much more I want to do, so much more I want to share. Not only on this platform, but in all the other ways I have device to use. To many, this might be too little, but to me its something to think about.
