Tenure expiration: Ondo govt dissolves parastatal boards

The Ondo State Government has announced the expiration of tenure and immediate dissolution of the boards of some parastatals and commissions in the state.

The decision was conveyed in a statement released on Tuesday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.

The affected bodies include the Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Ondo State Local Government Service Commission, Ondo State Muslim Welfare Board and Ondo State Christian Welfare Board.

The tenure of Education Secretaries across the 18 Local Government Areas of the state has also come to an end.

Government directed the chairmen, commissioners, board members and education secretaries concerned to hand over to the most senior administrative officers in their respective offices.

Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa expressed appreciation to all those affected for their service, dedication and contributions to the state’s development during their tenure.
