Tinubu’s re-election bid: Renewed Hope Ambassador rallies support, visits Ex-Ondo Gov, Mimiko

The Ambassador for Renewed Hope Non-Indigenes in Ondo State, Alhaji Abdulkadri Adinoyi, has renewed efforts to mobilise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election campaign.
He made the move through a solidarity visit to former Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, aimed at strengthening support for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Adinoyi said the visit was informed by recent political realignments, including Mimiko’s reported alignment with the APC, describing the development as a significant boost to the Renewed Hope agenda in Ondo State.
He explained that his mandate as Ambassador for Renewed Hope among non-indigenes in the state includes reconciling aggrieved APC members, attracting non-indigenes and opposition figures into the party, as well as encouraging politically neutral residents to support President Tinubu’s administration.
According to him, the delegation visited Dr. Mimiko to identify with him and also seek his support in mobilising his followers and political associates—particularly those previously affiliated with opposition parties—into the APC.
Adinoyi noted that the visit had already begun to generate positive reactions across different groups in the state.
He added that several aggrieved party members were showing readiness for reconciliation, while many non-indigenes and politically neutral residents were expressing renewed interest in the ruling party, following Mimiko’s involvement.
He said the delegation comprised representatives of various ethnic nationalities, including Fulani, Igala, Igbo, Hausa, Akwa Ibom and Cross River communities.
He also listed key figures in attendance such as the Fulani State Leader, Alhaji Isa Muhammad; the Seriki Hausawa, Shasha, Alhaji Ibrahim Sheu Dangeri; and the Yeye Oja Igala of the South West, who also serves as a women leader in Ondo State.
The former governor was, however, urged to deploy his wealth of experience in fostering unity and inclusiveness across political divides, serving as a father figure to all, and helping to consolidate harmony among all groups in the state.
He was also prayed for, with wishes for long life, good health, and continued prosperity.
