Dumebi Duru Sets Record With 5.0 CGPA At Pan Atlantic University
In what could simply be described as a combination of beauty and brains, Dumebi Valerie Duru has set a new record as the overall best graduating undergraduate from the Pan Atlantic University, PAU, with a perfect CGPA of 5.0!
Dumebi, who hails from Isiekenesi, Imo State, was also one of the best graduating students when she finished from the secondary school. In her speech as the Valedictorian, she gave God the glory for everything and thanked her parents, Engr. Duru Anselem and Engr. Mrs. Chika Duru, for the sacrifices as well as her lecturers, friends and department mates for the beautiful time they have shared today.
She was full of optimism that the journey ahead, beginning from the National Youth Service, NYSC programme, through to the period of contributing to the development of the society, would be fruitful by God’s grace and mercy.
According to the authorities at the university, it is the first time someone will be performing such a feat and described it as phenomenal.
Dumebi is of the Department of Computer Science of the university.
