You’re a living legend of Yoruba heritage, national service – Iya Adini eulogises Fasoranti at 100

The Iya Adini of Akure Kingdom, Alhaja Hon. F. I. Gidado has joined family, friends, and well-wishers across Nigeria and the Yoruba nation to celebrate a towering elder statesman, Reuben Famuyide Fasoranti, on the remarkable occasion of his 100th birthday.
She described Baba Fasoranti as a rare symbol of wisdom, integrity, and enduring service whose life has significantly shaped Nigeria’s political history from the era of the old Western Region to the present-day Ondo State.
According to her, his journey reflects an uncommon commitment to leadership anchored on truth, justice, and people-oriented governance.
Alhaja Gidado further eulogised the centenarian for his unwavering contributions to education, cultural preservation, and the promotion of religious tolerance.
