Nigeria@64: Kebbi First Lady Urges the people to Rekindled Hope for Better Future


The Kebbi First Lady, Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris, says, the future of Nigeria beckons with brightness, which serves as an encouragement to rekindle hope for prosperity and tranquility.
Hajiya Zainab Nasare made the remark in Birnin Kebbi in her message to the people of the state on the 64 Independence Anniversary of Nigeria.
Tracing the journey from independence to date, the Kebbi First Lady, said the struggle for liberty by the founding fathers of the nation, has made it possible for the progress recorded in Nigeria as one indivisible nation.
She gave an assurance that the giant strides started by the administration of her husband in urban and rural transformation in KebbI State, would be pursued vigorously to uplift the standard of living of all communities.
“I urge the entire indigenes of Kebbi to sustain support, loyalty and cooperation to the government to facilitate good governance and service delivery”,
The Kauran Gwandu led administration of Comrade, Dr. Nasir Idris, is compassionate and benevolent in nature with the policy thrust of socioeconomic growth and prosperity”,
We shall continue to imbibe the legacy of personalities who struggled for national independence, specifically, the late Premier of the Northern Region, the Sardauna of Sokoto, Sir Ahmadu Bello and the late Nigeria’s Prime Minister, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa”
“Let us consolidate on their achievements for a better future, we must give Glory to GOD for such a long journey in brotherhood, we should sustain fervent prayers for success, peace, security and prosperity”, Hajiya Zainab Nasare said.
