It was a moment of praises, merriment and fulfilment, as parents, guardians, friends and well wishers of the 2023 graduating students of the LeadWay British Academy, Federal Housing Estate, Karu District, Abuja, gathered to celebrate the colourful event.
The ceremony featured various interesting packages which included; congratulatory messages, prize giving to the outstanding students among others, and was graced by well-meaning Nigerians from all parts of the country.
The National Center for Women Development, Abuja, venue of the event, was filled to the brim with especially, elated parents who converged to watch their children advance to another level of academic pursuit after their graduation.
Basking in the euphoria of the celebration, one of the parents of the graduating students, a legal practitioner and a Property Consultant, Barr. Willie Adukwu, while speaking with Ebony Herald International, said he was elated and proud to have a son among the graduands.
His words: “I am very proud, fulfilled and elated that my son is among the graduating students and has performed excellently to my expectations.
“In all, I must tell you, that the School, over the years, has demonstrated to be a dependable citadel of learning, beaming with academic excellence and indeed, sound moral moulder.
He further commended the School for inculcating discipline, morals and academic excellence into the students, pointing out that, the performances of students of Leadway British Academy was phenomenal compared to their counterparts in other Schools.
While assuring that Students in the School would continue do better, he charged the School management to improve on all aspects so as to put the school on a higher pedestal of academic excellence.
“As you all know, if you are investing in your Child and you are seeing good results in return, you will be encouraged to invest more on him or her. so, the School is doing a great job”.
Barr. Willie further called on management of the school to pay rapt attention to Sports and Recreation, so that the natural or God-given talents inherent in the Pupils and Students could be harnessed, just as he urged the school management to provide enough space for sports and recreational activities.
