Oodua Youth Parliament has passed a vote of confidence on Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) on what it called misinformation by a media organization’s publication of 24 of August 2023 trying to misinform Nigerians with misinformed head line saying, NIMASA is yet to deploy 17 multi-million Dollars Security vessels, Helicopters Purchased since 2019.

Briefing newsmen in Abuja, the spokesperson “Oodua Youth Parliament Amb. Adediwura Adesina said it considered such head line news by Sahara reporters as total lie, misinformation and intentional attempts to cause confusion in the maritime sector and Nigeria at large.

While giving kudos to Nigerian Navy for clearing the air in on the Publication in Dialynews with head line”DEEP BLUE ASSETS FULLY DEPLOYED , WORKING WELL” Adediwura said it is an indication that the publication by Navy has brought normality to the sector over the confusion and misinformation caused by Sahara reporters.

Adediwura added that Oodua Youth parliament has been following the activities of Dr Bashr in NIMASA for over 4 year and have discovered that he is a man of integrity, dedication, hard working and one who operates an open door policy which is seen has second to none.

Adediwura who described Dr Bashr Yusufu Jamoh as someone who is transparent and one who believes in youth development without tribal affiliation also promised total support of Oodua Youth parliament to Dr Bashr Yusuf Jamoh , NIMASA, and Nigerian Navy he advised Sahara reporters and his co-agents of misinformation to stop using the media space to cause problems in the country.
