GOD IS ANCHOR OF OUR FAMILY
— DR. OLUSEGUN ADEOYE

The patriarch of the Adeoye family, Dr. Olusegun Adeoye, who recently marked the 40th birthday of his wife — Mrs. Feyisayo Adeoye, in style, and officially presented the first album of his musically talented children — D4STARBOYS— to the world, has described God as the anchor of his family.
Dr. Adeoye who is also a pastor with the Redemption Ministry said: “When Jesus is in the family, that family goes up. It is not that we do not face challenges. I once faced death and was in a coma for 3 weeks but Jesus is our anchor and God is the centre of our home.”
The highly entertaining event which held at the Merry Makers Event Centre, Wuse 2, had several dignitaries in attendance. Some of these were: Senator Emmanuel Paulker who was represented by his wife; the Provincial Pastor of Redemption Ministry, Pst. Levi Odumodu; Dr. Ibrahim Wada, Pst. Elijah Oyelade, Alhaji Lai Gidado of Ebony Herald International Magazine, Alh. Abdullahi Sanusi, Alh. Abdulhakeem Smith, Alh. Rafiu Smith, Pst. John Afamgbe, Mr. Yakubu Mohammed, Pst. Nwoko Olakada, Dr. Gbenga Bello, Dr. Kingsley Eseko, etc.

In his message at the occasion, Pst. Odumodu described the celebrant as a product of the grace of God who always had a positive outlook to life irrespective of the challenges that came her way or whenever people met her for counselling. He also described her family as a generous and God fearing one. Others who spoke at the event including family and friends some of who were brought in via video from the United States, etc said the same thing about the celebrant and were unanimous in their opinion she is a well grounded child of God.
One of the high points of the celebration was when her husband presented a special, well composed song in her honour.
Commenting on the origin of the newly introduced singing sensation — D4STARBOYS, Dr. Adeoye said it happened during the lockdown occasioned by the COVID-19 virus when one of their uncles gave the boys money for PlayStation computer game but, due to some circumstances, the money was diverted to the procurement of musical instruments for the boys.

These instruments coupled with the grace of God has produced the singing sensation the boys have become today with an album to show.
With the eldest, Olamide at 13 and in SS2, the 2nd Caleb at 12 and in SS1, Modesinuoluwa in SS1, and Olaoluwaduntale at 8 and in Pry 6, D4STARBOYS left no one in doubt that they would take the world by storm with different rendition from their album to deserving accolades from the audience who went on to appreciate them with gifts in cash.
Their impartation was done by Pst. Elijah Oyelade who prayed for God’s leading and grace upon them.

Guests were well entertained with food, drinks, and plenty of music and dancing.
