Idado-Ijesa Kingdom, on 3rd January 2025, witnessed a historic moment, as His Royal Majesty, Oba Michael Kehinde Adebowale Taiwo Jowele Lori-Oko Orilobamise II, Onifiye Adimula of Idado-Ijesa, conferred the esteemed chieftaincy titles of Aare Bobaselu and Yeye Aare Bobaselu upon Chief Mike Adegoke, a Turkey-based international business mogul, and his wife.

The colourful ceremony which took place at the palace square, was graced by dignitaries, family members, and friends from across the globe, underscoring the significance of the occasion.

Chief Mike Adegoke, a proud son of Efon Alaaye, expressed profound gratitude to Oba Adebowale Taiwo for the recognition.

He pledged unwavering commitment to the development of Idado-Ijesa, promising to utilise his resources and influence to foster growth in the kingdom.

In his remarks, Adegoke stated, “This honour is deeply appreciated, and I assure His Majesty and the people of Idado-Ijesa that I will contribute meaningfully to the kingdom’s progress.”
