The Director General of the People’s Democratic party Campaign Council for the Nov11 governorship election in Bayelsa State,Hon Chief Mitema Obordor has assured the party of victory. By Chris Mark

Obordor who stated this in Yenagoa while speaking to Newsmen, said there’s no basis for comparison between the party candidate and candidates of other political parties going by Diri’s track records.

Hon Chief Mitema Obordor who’s also a member Representing Ogbia Federal Constituency in the lower chamber of the national assembly also hinted that victory is sure on the heels that Diri is not a strange candidate to the people of the state base on his giant strides in various sectors.

According to the DG, with the numerous life touching projects by the Douye Diri’s administration there’s no doubt that Bayelsians,civil society organizations,civil servants, business men have all rated him high and are clamouring for his return.

He said “The people should expect victory because We are not going to sell a strange candidate,the political waters or territory of Bayelsa State is not new to us so we are going to navigate with wings of victory and I believe riding on the very giant stride of the governor we will able to sell him,I know Bayelsians are eagerly waiting for November 11 to deliver.

He highlighted some of the sectors which the governor has performed credibly well as Education, health care, human capacity building, and wealth creation.

The DG who thanked the party and the governor for finding him worthy of leading the campaigns for the re-election of the governor said that he received the appointment with joy and great enthusiasm.

His words “I received this appointment with great enthusiasm ,I am indeed very happy with the kind of selection and the kind consideration of the PDP leadership and his excellency the governor of our dear state.”
