….. Canvasses For Youths Inclusion In Governance

The Principal Partner of Manir, Faisal and Associates, Barr. Faisal Manir Murtala, has urged Nigerian Youths to wake up from their Comfort Zones and Places of Convenience and Pick up the Challenges of leadership of the Country.
Barr, Faisal further pointed out that, Nigerian Youth must avail themselves for rigorous leadership training and Skills, imbibe Societal norms and Values, Saying that, Values such as patroitism, loyalty, hardwork, Perseverance, Good Character and impeacable integrity must be pursued and held tenaciously by the Youths if they must have a Country of their Collective dreams.

Barrister Faisal gave the Charge at a Leadership and Mentorship Summit organised by the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) at the National Merit Award House, Maitama Abuja, Tuesday November 22,2023.
Barr.Manir who applauded the Students for their insight and initiative that birthed the noble idea, also stressed that the Summit was not only Critically essential , but Significantly necessary Considering the dearths of leadership and Mentorship in our Contemporary Society.
The legal Practitioner further noted that, Mentorship was Germane for any aspiring leader to reach his or her desirable height, adding that, Mentorship serves as guiding step, Source of inspiration and fountain of Knowledge for any Successful leader or Representatives of the people.
“I am a product of mentorship,my father is also a Product of mentorship, either Young or old, you need a mentor, dead or living for you to advance in what ever you do”.
Continuing, Barrister Faisal, affirmed that , mentorship is required in all aspects of of human endeavor, both in academics,in Career and also in our relationships we need a mentor to serve as a Guide.
Responding to questions from Journalists on the inability of Nigerian youths to attain leadership positions in the Country due to it high requirements,he noted that, inspite of the passage of the “not too young to run” bill into law, Nigerian Youth still finds it difficult to attain leadership positions, but he however advice that the youths must be Carried along in some aspects they had demostrated Sagacity, competence and expertise particularly, in the area of technology and this era of AI artificial intelligence that the Youths are leveraging at the moment, he buttressed.
