Kebbi CP decorates 37 newly promoted DSPs

The Kebbi State Commissioner of Police, CP Bello M. Sani, on Wednesday, 10th September, 2025, decorated thirty-seven Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) with their new ranks of Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs).
The colourful event, held at the Command Headquarters, marked another milestone in the career progression of the officers.

Speaking at the ceremony, CP Sani, on behalf of the 22nd indigenous Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D, NPM, congratulated the newly promoted senior officers and urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them.
He charged them to remain professional and disciplined in the discharge of their duties, warning against corrupt practices and unethical conduct.
The Commissioner further reminded the officers of their obligation to uphold the fundamental human rights of citizens while maintaining law and order.
Responding on behalf of the promotees, DSP Ahmed Abubakar expressed gratitude to the Inspector-General of Police and the Chairman of the Police Service Commission for the recognition and elevation.
He assured that the officers would remain committed to their responsibilities and uphold the ethics of the Force.
The ceremony was attended by members of the CP’s management team, families, friends, and well-wishers of the newly decorated officers.
