Osun Decides: Lawmaker, 145 suspected political thugs arrested in Ikire

The Osun State Police Command has arrested a serving member of the State House of Assembly, Mr Abiola Ibrahim Inaolaji, and about 145 suspected political thugs allegedly imported into Ikire, in Irewole Local Government Area of the state.

The Command’s spokesperson, DSP Abiosun Ojelabi, confirmed the arrest of the lawmaker and the suspected political thugs.

According to Ojelabi, Inaolaji, who represents the Irewole/Isokan State Constituency on the platform of the Accord Party, was arrested early Saturday.

He said the lawmaker was arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Special Intelligence.

A video showing the lawmaker and the suspected political thugs has also emerged.
